We have been accepting applications for Kindergarten since January. If you picked up a packet and haven't turned it in, we urge you to do so as soon as possible. Also, if you know someone who will have a Kindergartner next year, please let them know, now is the time to get those registration packets in. We are at that time of year when we are trying to figure out our staffing for next school year, so we need to get our future Kindergartners registered. Packets are available in the Maywood Hills office during the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Downloadable forms are also available on the District Website. Please visit our Kindergarten web page for more information.
We offer a comprehensive music program for students in 4th and 5th grades. The program is free for all students in the Northshore School District.
The Northshore School District will serve lunch at no charge to all children who are 18 and younger. Children do not have to be enrolled in the District to receive this benefit. The program will run from June 28 to August 16, Monday through Friday, except for July 4 and 5, at Northshore Middle School.
As of July 28, 2019, a new state law removes the personal and philosophical option to exempt children from the MMR vaccine required for school and child care attendance. Medical and religious exemptions are not affected by this new law.
The Northshore School Board approved the 2019-20 school year calendar, during its April 22, 2019 regular meeting.
